PR Yard accepts sites with at least 50 visits a month from Google Search. Many good sites, however, win readers in other ways, for example from social networks, newsletters or direct visits. By connecting Google Analytics 4 you let us read the verified total traffic of the site. A site with at least 3,000 active users in the last 30 days meets the traffic requirement even without traffic from search.

Why connect Google Analytics

How to connect

The whole connection takes less than a minute:

  1. Sign in to PR Yard as a publisher and open the site detail. For a new site the offer appears right after you enter the address in the first step of the form.
  2. Click Connect Google Analytics.
  3. Google asks you to choose an account. Pick the account with access to the Google Analytics 4 property that has a web stream for the site domain. Read-only access is enough.
  4. Confirm the permission to view your Google Analytics data. Keep it checked, the connection cannot be completed without it.
  5. You return to PR Yard and see the number of active users in the last 30 days next to the site. If the account has several properties for the site domain, you choose the one that measures the site. Your other PR Yard sites for which the account has a single property are connected at the same time.

What we read and what we do not

We read only aggregate figures for the site domain over the last 30 days and, for comparison, the previous 30 days: active and total users, sessions, page views, engagement rate, average visit duration, and the shares of traffic sources and of the most frequent countries. To match the site we read the list of Google Analytics properties in your account and the addresses of their web streams, and we store only the selected property. We do not read data on individual visitors, conversions, revenue, custom events or anything else from your Google account. We store the e-mail of the connected account and an encrypted access token so we can refresh the value once a week. Our use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Which Google account should I use?
The one with access to the Google Analytics property of your site. It does not have to be the account you use to sign in to PR Yard. If the account has no property for the site domain, try another account.

Should I connect Search Console or Google Analytics?
Feel free to connect both. Search Console shows clicks from Google Search, Google Analytics shows total traffic from all sources. Advertisers see both verified values in the catalog.

One Google Analytics property measures several of my sites.
That is fine. We count only visits on the domain of your site, other sites in the property are not included in the number.

What if Google Analytics shows fewer than 3,000 users?
We show the verified value in the catalog, but the site has to meet the traffic requirement another way, that is with at least 50 visits a month from Google Search.

Do you also check the quality of the traffic?
Yes. We compare the verified traffic with the engagement rate, traffic sources, countries of readers and the previous period. A site with unnatural or bought traffic is reviewed manually and we may not accept it into the catalog.

I do not use Google Analytics 4 or the connection cannot be completed.
Only Google Analytics 4 with a web stream for the site domain can be connected. If you measure traffic differently, send us a screenshot of the traffic over the last 30 days through the internal support in the administration and we will evaluate the site manually.

What happens if I revoke access in my Google account?
Google stops providing the data. We notify you by e-mail and 60 days after the last measurement the site falls back to the traffic you entered. You restore the connection with the Reconnect button.

Removing the connection

Remove the connection in the site detail with the Disconnect button. The last verified value stays on the site for 60 days after the last measurement, then the site switches to the traffic you entered and we delete the measured values. If you do not use the account for any other connected site or for Search Console, we also revoke the access with Google. You can also remove the access yourself in the security settings of your Google account under third-party apps.

If the connection fails, write to us through the internal support in the administration and we will gladly help.

Sponsored articles

A sponsored article is a text written for the readers of a particular website, in which your brand or product appears in context, with a link to your website. Readers take it as a regular article because it gives them something, and that is why search engines and AI assistants read it too.

In the PR Yard catalog you see the topic, traffic and publication price upfront for every website and pay only for published articles. You order articles in English, German, Polish, Czech, Spanish and other languages, from one account.

Visibility in search engines and AI

Search engines and AI assistants build their answers from what trusted websites have written about a field. An article on an industry website is such a source: for search engines it brings a link, for AI the context in which your company is written about.

Nobody can honestly guarantee that a specific model will name you. Articles on the websites AI draws from raise the chance. How it works and what to do about it: visibility in search engines and AI.

Backlinks and link building

Backlinks remain one of the most important ranking factors in search engines. A link from editorial text on a quality website passes authority to your website. What matters is the quality and topical closeness of the linking website, not the number of links.

Buying backlinks in the catalog comes without a subscription: websites sorted by domain strength (DR), traffic and price, and you pay only for published articles. The basis of link building for agencies and companies.
